Lovely place clean comfortable and welcoming. We visited for my 50th Birthday and they made it feel special. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch and the food was all fresh and well presented and plenty.

I don't usually give a review but this time I will!
Could not have had a better experience great hosts, great room's, breakfast omelette excellent, just away from the tourist noise, next to the cinder track off road cycle/walking route to Robin Hoods Bay and on to Scarborough. Looking forward to our next visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anchorage House. Wonderful host who was on hand with some helpful tips for dinner, easy parking outside and loved the comfort of having breakfast in our room!

A great B&B. We really liked the character of the building. Nice size rooms and a lovely continental breakfast.

Our first visit here ,wow from start to finish excellent, from arriving early ,and been given the key early,room amazing everything thought off ,including a small fridge with extra milk ,bottles of water ,breakfast arrived in a basket 🧺 with everything we'd chosen ,at the time we'd chosen ,would definitely return, absolutely nothing to complain about

Anchorage house is easy to find and within walking distance to whitby centre, the en suite room was nice clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was beautifully presented, looking forward to a return visit

Nick is a great host, very warm welcome, always willing to advise on the area. Excellent breakfast well presented, some would say cute. Deluxe double room with view was deluxe, high standard with everything you need.

Had an amazing stay this weekend..Nick was lovely...A fantastic location..very clean..apart from the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied for some time judging by the empty loo rolls in it....
the bed was amazing...the shower wasn't great but thats probably just me being use to a power shower...the smart tv was a great extra.unlimited milk sugar and tea was a massive bonus for me!...
However on reading the reviews beforehand everyone commenting on the amazing breakfast Brought to your room and looking at the pics and seeing a lovely full English...we was shocked to be told that it was a continental breakfast.as when i go away i do look forward to a good full English!..It was a great continental breakfast Brought to our room though... but I feel the site is very misleading and should be re advertising a continental breakfast...and the photos should be updated...

Excellent service 👏 great breakfast service in ur room, 10min walk into whitby, down hill & a taxi back £5. Very Clean accommodation, tea bags, coffee, milk, all sorts of sauce's & jam, I'll recommend the ANCHORAGE HOUSE to anyone 👌👍

just spent a lovely weekend at this' gem' of a b and b .Mick was friendly,and helpful ,room was beautiful and spotless .Breakfast was brought to our room and was delicious...will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it .

This was our first stay here and we would definitely recommend and go again. Lovely host who was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely touches like a little refrigerator in the room and proper glasses for wine and bottle opener. Breakfast was delivered to our door as we had a table and chairs and this was a great idea x

The hotel is absolutely immaculate. Beautifully decorated only met mick but he was so friendly brilliant host. Breakfast in your room was gorgeous with a good choice everything you could ask for. Fridge in room with water and fresh milk and tea and coffee making facilities biscuits. Looking forward to returning here for another great wend soon.

Lovely B&B, Mick & Deb the proprietors are a lovely couple who are very welcoming & nothing is too much trouble, the room we stayed in was spacious & exceptionally clean, you get a fab breakfast which is brought to your room so that you can eat it in the comfort of your own room we would highly recommend The Anchorage & we will definitely be staying there again x

Fantastic service. The breakfast in your room was a lovely surprise. Lovely building, lovely room with comfy bed. Attention to detail by the very friendly owners was 2nd to none. Thank you Anchorage. We hope to be back soon. Recommended place to stay.
